Margaret Mary Plowden-Wardlaw was my Great Aunt being the sister of my Grandfather. I had never met Margaret in her lifetime, or at least I do not have any recollection of a meeting.
Born at Rusthall, Kent, July 28, 1911. She was married on January 4, 1937, at St. Clement's, Cambridge, to Michael Vyvyan Spurway (24 January 1909 – 7 July 2007 (armigerous and a cadet of Spurway of Spurway and Oakeford, near Tiverton, Devon), graduate of Christ Church, Oxford, and son of the late Rev. Edward Popham Spurway, Rector of Heathfield, Taunton, and at the time of his marriage to Miss Plowden-Wardlaw in the Colonial Administrative Service.
It is known that Margaret visited, St Mary's School, Wantage, Autumn 1926 at the age of 15. Apart from this, I dont have any information and would be pleased for any information on Margarets family. Thankyou.
